Spring 2021 COVID Protocols

2020 Season Registration Begins May 1!

Published: April 30, 2020

Hey Mountaintop Soccer Family,

We hope you are all staying healthy and safe and making the most of enjoying time with your families. We want to reach out to let you know that we, your MSA Board, are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and the impact that it may have on our upcoming soccer season.

That being said, we are going to move forward with online signups for the 2020 Season beginning on Friday, May 1, at www.mountaintopsoccerassociation.org.

Sign-ups will be open from May 1 - May 31. **Note: each child will need a separate registration.**

At this time, we are not requiring any registration fees to sign up. Our goal is to simply have kids playing soccer in the fall. If you are unable to sign-up online, please contact Brian Boal’s office at (301) 334-4007 and we will facilitate getting your child signed up.

Sign-ups are open to kids ages 4 to 15.

We are very excited about the upcoming season and the chance to be together again, if circumstances allow! Sign up now and we will see you on the soccer field very soon!

Changes to Age Divisions

The MSA Board of Directors has decided to change how the age divisions are structured this coming season. We received feedback throughout last season, and we've determined the age brackets will be broken up as follows:

  • U6 - 6, 5, and 4 year olds
  • U8 - 8 and 7 year olds
  • U10 - 10 and 9 year olds
  • U12 - 12 and 11 year olds
  • U15 - 15, 14, and 13 year olds**

The ages are based on the age your child will be at the end of the 2020 calendar year.

**For 15 year old players, you must try out for the high school team if you are eligible.**

---

This change allows younger players the ability to gain additional experience playing and learning before moving up to an older division, and it gives eligible 15 year olds an additional year of playing youth soccer.

If you have any questions, please email us at info@mountaintopsoccerassociation.org.

Thanks, and let's have a great season!
